A Personal Global Journey in the bond between the UAE and Russia

Ladies and Gentlemen, esteemed guests, and valued partners, thank you for joining me today.
I am Abdulla Rashed Al Suwaidi, and it is an honor to stand before you as the last diver of Arabian pearls from the United Arab Emirates.

Today, I am excited to share our journey and vision, focusing on the establishment of robust business and cultural connections, with a special emphasis on fostering ties with Russia.

Diplomatic relations between the UAE and Russia have a rich history dating back to the Soviet era, formalized on December 15, 1971, shortly after the UAE gained independence.

In 2022, our trade witnessed a remarkable increase of almost 68%, reaching US$ 9 billion. Notably, exports from Russia to the UAE surged by 71% to US$ 8.5 billion, while UAE exports grew by 6% to US$ 500 million.

The UAE stands as Russia's 12th most important trade partner, holding the top position among Middle East countries and being Russia’s largest trading partner in the Gulf.

These historical ties have paved the way for a modern relationship encompassing politics, economics, and culture, contributing significantly to global diplomatic and economic cooperation.

With its highly diversified economy and status as a global business hub, the UAE has attracted over 700 Russian companies in recent decades, exemplifying the prosperity and strong relations between our nations.

However, today, I am here to share a more personal journey—one that transcends borders and cultures, a journey with a global vision.

In my journey of life, I meet a lot of people.
With his determinations and a persistence to meet me, to discuss with me business, that the crossing cultural values and understanding, so on some concrete business and sharing ideas. I found out this culture of a persistence and determinations comes from a successful Russian businessman is worth of discovering and finding out.
This is where I got the guts and the courage to sit down and to discuss a promising relationship about business and consultations.

But that’s not only that. We share a love of the sea and the sport activities. That’s also a common ground that allow us to work together. Always look for someone passionate about the work that you do. They really make the business success.

This relation was not limited to the sea and the sport. It’s become and developed into other line of businesses of marketing, specifically digital marketing, artificial intelligence and consultant of cross culture businesses. That’s why we are here today.

As I mentioned, our vision extends beyond borders. With the continued partnership of our Russian friends, we have expansion plans on the horizon, welcoming new business ventures in the UAE.
